Embedding a Map

Generating a community map to embed on your website.
Log-in at Perceptions.Live. Click "Control Panel" from the dropdown user menu in the top-right of the map screen. Find "Make a Map" on the left menu and click it so it expands its menu. Click "Generate New Map."

Website Details

These details should be as accurate as possible so our API will not have problems giving your website access to the map embed feature.

Title of Map

The title you would like to display above the left sidebar feed.

Domain

Your website domain on which you will be embedding your map.

Map Look & Feel

Where is the map's focus? How much distance should it cover? How can users filter the map for their own browsing purposes?

Default Location

Where the map should start out. (ex. your city)

Default Zoom Level (0-15)

Map Browsing Filters

Choose which browsing filters you would like displayed at the bottom of your map (Category, Greater Community Intention, Associated Users, Service/Opportunity).
The selected filters will filter the map video entries selected in the following Content section.
For example, choosing 'Associated Users' would allow the map's video content to be filtered by the users associated with the videos. Greater Community Intention would allow filtering by the videos' intention (ex. Gardening & Permaculture, Party & Celebration, Sharing & Experiencing, etc)

Content

This is how we find the content to display on your map. Note that your map will display ALL options you select in this section (it uses 'AND' as opposed to 'OR').

My Groups

Choose to display the videos which are attached to your group.

Primary Subject Tag

Choose to display videos of a certain Primary Subject Tag.

Associated Users

Choose to display videos created by certain users.
